Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Bodrie mobile application (the “App”) and related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
These Terms are between you and Bodrie Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Eligibility (17+)
The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 17 years old.
What Bodrie Is
Bodrie is a calm offline journal for woodland walkers. Link every outing to seasonal phenology tags—bud break, leaf fall, mushroom flush—and build a personal year-round forest timeline.
- Log woodland walks (duration, trail name, mood, notes, weather notes, phenology tags).
- Browse a bundled offline tree field guide (16+ species).
- Capture Season Journal observations with tags, prompts, and date filtering.
- Bookmark favorite forest paths and link them to past walk logs.
- Explore trail ideas and tips, and optionally email feedback (no account required).
Privacy
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy made available with the Services. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy about personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.
License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, Bodrie Team grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except to the extent permitted by law.
- Circumvent security or access controls.
- Use the Services to violate any law or third-party rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
Accounts (Optional)
The App may be usable without an account. If you choose to create an account (if offered), you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Optional AI-Assisted Features
Some optional features may be described as “AI-assisted” and may require uploading text or images. If you choose to use such features, you agree that Bodrie Team may process the uploaded content to generate the requested output. You control whether you upload any content and whether to generate AI-assisted output.
Safety Disclaimer (Outdoor Use)
Bodrie is not a safety tool, navigation system, or emergency service. Trail conditions, weather, and hazards can change quickly. Use good judgment outdoors and follow local guidance. Bodrie Team is not responsible for your decisions, route choices, or safety while walking.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bodrie Team from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
